P.A.C.E.
P.A.C.E. (Partners in Alternative Care Education) training is a 36-hour training program, which will be provided by a team consisting of an agency social worker and a foster parent. The training curriculum focuses on 12 Competency areas. Should a foster parent not complete P.A.C.E. training they would still be eligible to continue their license application, however the department would reserve the right not to place any children in the home until the training requirements are met.

The Gift of Life
I didn't give you the gift of life,
But in my heart I know.
The love I feel is deep and real,
As if it had been so.
For us to have each other
Is like a dream come true!
No, I didn't give you
The gift of life;
Life gave me the gift of you.
